Hi @Calvin Shih, it sounds to me like you're best play would be funding the renovations with a HELOC or personal loan and then, (assuming sufficient value has been added) refinance your home loan.Using a construction loan on a home you already own is a tricky deal and most banks, even under normal economic and lending pressures, are hesitant to do this.
