Use online forums for local market knowledge.

I was online today asking about "safe" areas and I got a very mixed bag of commentary.

I understand that, say, playing an online game can't be interrupted, but if I come back after telling you to take out the garbage and rather than doing it, you've entered another match, you lose the privilege of having that online game respected.  

"Online Rental Programs" like Rent Redi are software tools that assist owners in managing their own properties.

(They gave notice to me while I was on vacation which resulted in me spending hours online posting and then on the phone answering calls while the family was site seeing).  

Take a look online at other rentals in your market.

Most banks have an online portal where you can change over payee info so that it comes from your accounts rather than the previous owner.

My biggest weakness as An investor is most definitely in the tax/legal aspect, and I believe while being overseas an online entity could increase the possibility of further developing my knowledge on the topic through FaceTime/Skype style interactions.

That's a new LO.All appraisers and appraisal management companies (AMC), if they work with lenders, have horrible reviews online. 

I looked into QuickBooks Online, but $80 a month seems like a tough pill to swallow for something I am able to manage (although not ideally) in Excel.
