I don't know the situation there so I'm curious what the boots on the ground are seeing (despite rising house prices, that is happening everywhere, and although there *should* be a correlation, housing prices are not the economy).A thousand foot view datapoint: Fayetteville has the worst unemployment rate out of all NC MSA (which I got from the BLS at this link), which seems to validate my concern. 

Those guys must be getting Hammered right now.50% rise in Rates is HUGE. 

Should have held it longer, as the market kept rising.

We've been looking for our first house for quite some time now in the GTA where we work, but have been having no luck during the past year due to the insane rising house prices (a product of low interest rates and those wishing to leave smaller city dwellings during the pandemic).

I'd love to hear some of you opinions of specific areas that you invest in/see a rise in.I'll be coming out to town for the month of March to view and hopefully purchase a few properties and I'm looking to start finding some boots on the ground!

If you're already planning to redo most of that work, your costs may not rise dramatically. 

Those jobs are on the rise as business try to figure out more ways to reach their consumers in the virtual world.

I have been hoping against all odds for some sort of crash however, all the indicators I am seeing seem clear that prices are going to continue to rise with such low supply and high demand with rates continuing to go lower and lower.

It seems that the rental demand in Florida has grown since many people have been flocking to this state for the sunshine and tax laws after the start of COVID and the rise in WFH.

With Portland being expensive and rising, it is difficult to buy a home that makes sense on paper and have a positive cashflow come in.Therefor I am considering in looking somewhere in Arizona to purchase my second investment property.
