I mean, Bart and High Speed Rail is also making its way to where my condo is located.With that said, I am thinking about moving up to Oakland CA where properties are also appreciating but not as fast as San Francisco or San Jose.

That being said, this is a great lesson to all to make sure you get multiple bids (at least two) so you have something to compare to.The real hard decision is deciphering which contractor will do said work in the time allowed and at the quality you expect.There is an industry rule of thumb that you can choose ONLY two of the following three: Price, speed, quality
