We have medium-term furnished rentals in Colorado Springs and Denver -- two condos and one SFH, and all of them do well for us.

Colorado where I live and invest, has lower cash on cash numbers, than Story County, Iowa, where I also invest, which also has lower cash on cash returns than Flint, Michigan where I do not invest.

The thing we had to be mindful of (we live in Colorado) was the number of unrelated occupants.
