The problem of course is that if the debt was paid off before the purchase of the prior lender's assets the new lender would not have an obligation to provide a satisfaction.

Getting closer to a top would mean to be more patient or hold your money on the sidelines.

Right now I am sitting patient just wathing the market, jobs report came in way over expected with permanent jobs, values are climbing exponentially and foreclosure market is relatively balanced. 

If you are curious how to repay them entirely, that would happen once the property is sold, and then the lien is paid off and a satisfaction of mortgage (in a mortgage state) would then be filed to show the lien was officially satisfied.

Just be patient and don't get too over your head to start
