I have heard that once you get multiple properties, some people get a line of credit from a portfolio lender using the combined equity of all properties.

We easily qualified (for both fha and conventional from multiple lenders) because we have combined income over $100k, both have over 820 credit scores, and have never been unemployed in our adult lives.

The tenants are all lovely people, though they seem to be concerned about 1) the condition of the garage, 2) the fact that the windows all let in cold air (by the look of them, they're probably as old as the building) and 3) the lack of landlord response to their multiple other (small) concerns about the property.

You never know who's watching and you've essentially brought up and are considering multiple crimes, lol
