A long time ago i invested in residential real estate and had a bad experience with a couple tenants.I see the that the world for sharing knowledge amongst owners and investors has changed considerably.I am working in the Self Storage field as a Bird Dog for now. 

I was born and raised in Marietta (East Cobb) and have extensive knowledge of the schools, neighborhoods, areas, etc.

Call center employees usually know what's in their "box" and often times aren't completely knowledgeable about what happens in other departments.Your best opportunity to buy the house appears to have your family member show up to the Sheriff's Sale and bid on the property.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a CPA that is knowledgeable in real estate for the Charleston , SC area?

I felt, starting with mobile homes are cheaper and would allow me to gain experience and knowledge.

I really believe that while an agent should be very knowledgeable about the real estate market....you should also have a great connection with that person because its going to be a fun/scary/emotional/weird/crazy/hectic time and you want to be able to ride that roller coaster with someone you generally like and can stand putting up with numerous showings and phone calls and texts.

You're just starting out so keep things as simple for yourself as possible and work on scaling when you have the portfolio, knowledge, and experience to do so.Congrats on your second closing and good luck!
