Today, kids want to enjoy their experience so they go to private schools, borrow money for housing, food and even car payments and spring break.

I am prepared to start working as a Uber Eats or Favor driver to keep food on the table. 

And that's my point being an engineer in San Fran compared to Dallas is still the same you may get paid a bit extra "to cover the cost of the city" but thats hardly enough to cover the prices of higher rents, food and gas.
