I plan on investing in a property at every duty station I am located at, my only question is, in terms of utilizing your VA loan, what are some things you encounter when using your VA loan for an investment property as opposed to a primary residence?

While the FHA 203k does permit renovations, converting from a single-family residence back to a duplex might encounter some zoning and occupancy issues, especially with two properties sharing the same lot but having different addresses.

So keep us updated on what's going on with this land deal.I mean, as time goes on, post up the good the bad and the ugly as you encounter it.Maybe it's full of snakes (seriously, I have had rough tough dozer men terrified of snakes).

So I get that I sound like a bratty daughter, which to be fair, I am lots of the time...But for people wholesaling in CA without a broker's license, do you ever encounter legal issues?

Your post title is using his name and saying "is it a scam" while your question within the post is "does anyone have any experience with his program".

I know this post is going to draw lots of hatred from real estate agents that is why I never want to start a conversion to criticize the system until I encounter such extreme case this time.On a side note, I googled the owner and found out that he is a 69 year old guy.

We encounter this a great deal but it doesn't mean you can't get the property financed easily.  

@Hattie Dizmond please don’t fall for that “offsetting tax” scam many politicians push every year.Here in Oregon we have politicians which emphatically plea every few years for the voters to pass a state sales tax; saying it will offset our property and income tax.

This is what I am encountering, in the current Mortgage Industry.
