I believe if and when the BIG one hits, the insurance companies will go bankrupt long before everything gets rebuilt, so we may be paying for coverage we may not benefit from.Looking to see what others have to say.

If you have a connection with a company that provides them, I would get in contact with them.

My best recommendation here is to get with other investors in your market and ask them what techniques and companies they are using for foundation work.  

If your company will not quote up to $5mm have them check on other companies.
