If so that puts a lid on DST’s general upside potential, and somewhat defeats the purpose of paying for professional management if the value add component is missing (of course you’re still getting the 1031 exchange benefit and passive investment aspects.)Maybe those with more hands on experience with various DST’s can speak to this matter?

While I find home inspectors very valuable, I also like specialist it might still be $500 bucks but at least your getting the person that handles that aspect of the home specifically.
