tile will last forever, a few may crack, but did you ever watch post Katrina footage. the homes that were washed away, and or blown away depending on who you talk to, all that was left were tiled floors

The interesting thing is that now it seems to just keep progressing--I remember there was a point where GLD hovered around 139 for what seemed forever.
