The general contractor will only need to manage the project and dose not need to do any of the work himself, but can decide to do some of the "handyman" tasks and pocket the money set aside for those.

The book, albeit is quite basic, it makes the task seem a whole less daunting of a task. 

I prefer to work with a different lender just because I have heard that they stay very involved the whole time and I can only work on one task at a time with the way their draw system works.

Also, I try to scale up my business and outsource as many tasks as possible.

I have looked around and stressed a few options, but have had a hard time finding hard money lenders for business acquisitions, and finding financial partners has been an even harder task.

I'm considering hiring a virtual assistant to take care of some task for my REI.

I like to meet prospective tenants myself and get to know them/ screen them a bit in person, but I understand my PM can't always do this at scale and they also need to follow anti-discrimination laws strictly by the book in terms of screening process (not subjectively picking the one they like best based on how they act at the showing like someone self-managing might). 

It also means allowing localities to enact anti-price-gouging and rent-stabilization measures.
