We live in central MA just east of Worcester so that is probably further then you want to go. 

looking to invest in Central Ohio

I am currently a member of ICSC, and actively involved with the Youth Leadership Group of ULI Central Florida. 

I'm not paying 90k for a same size/same neighborhood house that I just paid 58k for in Jan that needs all the same work plus roof, central hvac and 1950's bathroom redone and their both going to appraise out the same when finished.

There are a bunch of companies writing central Texas right now..

We live in the Central Valley and although we could search for a multiplex it's just not a common thing out here.

We decided to do ductless a/c because it cheaper and we don't have to put a central a/c in each unit. 

I'm also new to real estate investing and wanted to invest in the central Texas corridor, San Antonio, New Braunfels, and Austin.If you have any advice to share on these areas, I would love to hear them.
