Officially, it ultimately reports into the SEC so what is its role?

The majority of Indiana's Official Tax Sales are conducted by a private company.  

Every city is different and your officials would know best but you need to be zoned to allow for your desired use which is a completely separate issue from replatting.    

I'm new to the bigger pockets forums and don't know how to connect through official channels yet.  

It looks like Chicago works the same, I found an article specifically about Chicago tax assessment  from earlier this year where it has direct quotes from the tax and assessment officials saying that they won't raise it if you appeal. 

In fact, the eviction attorney said that if I didn't pass, it could hurt my eviction case - so this worked out well (because usually they fail you for minor stuff, like tenant taking the batteries out of a smoke alarm).I am working with the handler and officially nothing else is required of me aside from tenant honoring my notice to quit and moving out.

Someone has said if you get to this point being rejected by lender because you have many mortgage you's officially professional investor and it is time to think out of the box for options to keep moving.

The county's revenue commission placed a $2,900 value on the structure, so I don't believe it was officially condemned.
