I don't expect that a lawyer who has actually worked piercing the corporate veil cases is going to have to go to Lexis and pull up their own piercing the corporate veil cases they already have, or other piercing the corporate veil cases they referenced and looked up in the past in preparation for their own cases.

I mentioned to someone the other day that the benefits of becoming an S-Corp are dependent upon income level and its a good idea to check with your CPA for advice.I recently filed form 2553 with the IRS which allowed one of my single member LLC's to be taxed as an S-Corp. but I only did it because I'll save money by preparing my own tax return.

They won't let me pay for the $3,500 appraisal, which understandably has to be done before closing, directly to the appraisal company.I've had an extremely tough time finding a HML in Ohio for big multi-family buildings so I'm prepared to go on gut feeling with Blackburne.
