Hey @Alexandra Hughes PailetThe neighborhood in Winston that is the most up and coming is West Salem (27101 just south of downtown)A lot of new development activity in the form of restaurants, a new brewery, a food hall (allegedly anyway) plus some legacy mainstays like Old Salem, Carolina University and UNC School of the Arts, and the baseball stadium. 

Potentially something unforeseen came up that influenced the final sales price, but either way that would be an instance when I left food on the table (for the opposing party!) 

Ahold (Giant Foods) is a large employer headquartered in Carlisle as well.Penn State Dickinson School of Law is also in downtown Carlisle.
