The area was always going to be replaced with tile, so I just ripped up the hardwood boards, but I'd like to know how I could have removed the adhesive effectively.I had to try a few methods, Jim. 

I was wondering if there was a way for me to take over his HELOC to have a lower monthly payment or if there were any other creative financing methods that someone could recommend for my situation.

I was just wondering what are some methods other investors use when talking to a seller.
