If you're under BRS you should at least take the TSP matching money. 

The distinction needs to be made more clearly. 

After we purchased the property, we adding fencing to create two distinctly separate homes.

There are two distinct reasonings behind each of those methods.

I'd be interested in seeing if what they state as their security deposit matches what was transferred to you from the turnkey company.
