When you're priced appropriately in a hot market, you may get a lot of calls/showings but only a couple actual applications.Second, it's rare that you receive two or more applications that are equally strong.

Since they don't communicate directly with the buildings department, even permitted work can go unnoticed until the property is put up for sale.If there was something opened in 2006 for work, you can go to the buildings department and review the permit to see if it was for the attic or something else.Either way, it's mostly a non issue.Buildings departments have hot button issues related to things like major work being performed without a permit.
