I have looked at Brad Sumrock and Rod Khleif programs to start but not exactly sure what the cost of each will be and if there are other events we should consider.

@Jordan Formicola just met a roofer last night at a REI event. 

One thing I would do differently, is move faster with the renovations once they were vacant (we did some work ourselves, and let it take too long - other life events), and not have more than one vacancy at a time (costly).  

I was told at a local networking event that the average equity held in real estate nationally is at 50% and most home owners have low mortgage rates at around 3%.  

It possible that previous crazy financing from 10 years ago was a once in a lifetime event.

I feel like it's more of a buy-and-hold, unless some major event/planning turns the area around for upward growth.

I have attending many seminars and also network events and I continue to.
