I currently own my home as well as 2 investment properties, and am very interested in buying and holding residential R/E and growing a portfolio that will hopefully provide substantial income to live comfortably off of one day.

The day of the open house it went "Pending - Contingent Showing," I went and asked the agent what happened and she said the owners just got an all cash offer they couldn't refuse.I'm in the same situation about whether we should wait since charts and discussions show that it'll cool down, but I think you'll just never know and I feel like the longer I wait, the more it grows.. even  if it grows slower, it's still growth.  

This is the best place to grow your knowledge in Real Estate.

I grow up with my family owning a couple rental properties and currently have a few myself.

But I would start simple and get more complex as your assets grow.

The numbers originally looked great for the growing Charleston SC market, but my repair costs are quickly adding up.
