When there is land and the home is attached to the land so there is one title you have more options.

I've found there are real estate agents on the islands I've looked at, including Jamaica. 

My plan is to buy and hold and I am wondering what you guys think are good areas in Rhode Island for this strategy.

How is the Long Island market?

Lots of possibilities, but the best use will be shown in the market for the area....what is land being used for adjacent to this piece and in the vacinity.

I would also invest in some duplex's/Multi-Family, but believe SFR is the way to go; especially in Long Island, NYAny thoughts?
