Learn the market and along with going to REIA's, go to any open houses in the area you are looking to invest in so you can learn what style is popular in the area and what features make a property sell.

You can also find income data by subdivision with the map feature on city-data.com.

(for some reason when I type @ and the name the feature does not work)I am planning on going down there next month to meet with a realtor and talk to few banks to establish the credit line.

Mike S,The features you are listing can be used in general and with some caveats.

Definately take advantage of listening to the podcasts, and using the keywords feature!
