Not saying they take home $25K before all expenses, but that is who should be looking at this stuff (think of it almost like investing in a syndication/etc.)

I haven't hired an accountant but he knows his stuff and he invests in real estate himself.On another note, if your property is located in New London County, we have a small meetup group.

She also, in my opinion, might be growing very tired of living there with all of my stuff (which I'm pretty sure she has not touched). 

I haven't looked much into syndications, but I'm definitely in the camp of wanting more passive than actively being in the trenches everyday doing RE stuff. 

My husband and I do some stuff ourselves in each house, but mostly subcontract it.  

The write-offs and stuff won't be any different whichever way you go.

This lending stuff is new to me and not sure what is fair with my investors. 

File a trespassing complaint to see what they can do - give them an ultimatum to move all their stuff off in 30 days or less (?)
