I guess just the act of getting in the car, driving a couple blocks, finding a quiet place in the library, and focusing puts things in perspective.

Volume is good with headphones, car, Bluetooth speaker, dock speakers and even the phone speaker. 

I can make it downtown via bicycle without touching a road for more than 2 minutes faster than anyone can in a car during rush hour.  

I don't have any credit and I don't want a car loan or to be taking out loans on things I really don't need.
