It's irritating to me that these same people that are allowing our country to slip won't address the issue of unfunded liabilities that are bound to hit all at once with the baby boomers coming to collect.If we are going to create jobs in this country we need a Govt. that is pro business and on our side.

One month is reasonable once a year.You going to tell a tenant they can't have a baby, can't adopt an 8 year old, can't be a foster parent?

There will be lots of "moment" but the key is to keep you eye on the prize and baby steps!

As DR says the first baby step is to put away $1k as an emergency fund and then you might want to add another $1k to cover maintenance costs of the used car.If you really truly want to get into REI then you need to make the sacrifices that it takes to get there.Hope this helps!

We would then be forced with the ugly, distasteful and unfortunate dilemma of kicking out (or at least trying to) a very nice single-mother & child (who happen to be not-horrible tenants) during winter-cold February PLUS inconveniencing all the mothers who bring their 3 month olds to that particular daycare.This is not a pretty situation.If it comes down to an 'eviction' it could get ugly (it's one thing to evict a drug-dealer but another altogether to evict a single mom&child with daycare babies...!)

I am a University of Washington graduate and my wife and I are expecting our first child this August.With the baby on the way it has re-aligned my priorities and really pushed into high gear the need to be in control of my own future.

I tried to get my license some 25 years ago, but life (and then 3 babies) got in the way. 

Good luck.....and on that note....I'm going shopping for a brand new Porsche baby!!!!

My schedule is a little full with the new baby coming.
