In general we do a move-in inspection right before the tenant moves-in documenting everything inside the property and we have the tenant complete a move-in inspection form within 5 days of move-in.

Lesson learned here is start working on your investor documents immediately after you've completed the bulk of the due diligence activities including financial reviews and physical inspections.
