If so then there would be no motivation to do a 1031.However, @Matt Motil is correct you could also buy the hangar (as long as it is real estate) and another investment property of any type so you could reach the investment target set by your sale.Good potential move.

@Matt Geerts@William Johnson has had some success wholesaling in MTL, but I think he might even tell you it's not an easy way to make a living in this country.While there may not too many $30K house (I bought one last year), but there are quite a few $60-80K houses in some parts of the country - I looked at a few over the past couple of weeks.
