I am wanting to present a deal to a partner..aka my father...

My father currently has some buy and hold properties in the New York City area.

My father in law spent thousands trying to keep water out and it still somehow finds a way in.I think decks and some sort of "cool" feature like that are very desirable to buyers in the Nashville market as I have heard from agents.

Is there a problem with my unadopted step father (not sure if it matters) purchases the property with conventional/FHA/non FHA financing and turns right around to sell it to me "subject to" plus the 20% deposit.  

I was blessed to have my father who was willing to co-sign with me which improved my debt to income enough to purchase the home.After a couple years, I refinanced (because my debt to income had changed) and got my father off the loan and had it solely in my name.I hope you figure something out!

My father was in real estate sales and buying and he taught me a little bit.  

Currently, a 19 year old living in San Jose, CA in the process of pursuing Real estate investing along side with my father.

Hello, I was presented with a problem recently and am stuck in finding a solution.A friend of mine was given control an appartmet complex by his father last year and he does not know what to do with it.

She knew she was passing so she deeded the house over to him before she passed, he was only child, and his father was not in the picture.
