I have been seeing cases when heat which gets expensive here is included in rent payment. 

Pay it, and be grateful my tenant had heat on a cold holiday, after having the power out for two days over Christmas Eve and Christmas Day (we had a really bad winter storm and a huge area was without power for several days), or call the company and try to negotiate the cost down a bit, because the tech was not there for two hours (their shop is 10 minutes away), while trying to maintain a good working relationship with them?

This monthly amt. includes water, heat, etc.  

Just a different type of construction down here (and that space is needed for insulation to deal with the heat).

Hello everyone, I just wanted to share my numbers on the duplex I'm buying and ask a little advice about separating OIL HEAT.    

While the emergency heat was on for 3 days, it double the electric bill.

The house requires gas for heat and hot water, so I have been unable to rent it out.

Need a contractor to see what work needs to be done and complete a project installing electric baseboard heaters, electric hot water heater, upgrading electrical system to support electric heat and hot water and also work with solar panels.

I knew that my market was heating up quickly and selling my house would free up a good chunk of cash for investing.
