if you're hell-bent on paying yourself for work, set up a company, say ABC Remodeling, LLC...pay this company a fair price for the work that's done, and you can take your distribution from ABC Remodeling, LLC.

For example, if the lender's name is "ABC Mortgage Inc." then they will have recorded security instruments, that you can see by pulling title or a property profile, showing "ABC Mortgage, Inc." as the recorded lender of record.

The big key is to get the reassessed as soon as possible from purchase. argue the assessment each year.

They did not argue regarding the commission and agreed to sign off on it so it did not ever become a negative issue in the transaction.In such cases, I think that is more than fair.

Everything takes time , and time is $$$$$$While I agree it is a business and all businesses need to get paid, I would argue that on small items, they already are getting paid via their monthly fee.

Just state the requirements and if anyone tries to argue, tell them that’s fine if they disagree but if they want to rent your property then you have to follow the application process.
