The main reward for all this drama is that you can pick up properties at a discount, thus having better equity position and in theory making higher returns (lower purchase price equals lower mortgage equal higher returns in many cases).

One of the things I like about syndications is the flexibility it offers to sponsors and investors to create a economic structure that aligns interests, allocates risk and rewards performance.     

Everything has a risk/reward ratio. 

Now you need to make timeliness a contract penalty point, or conversely a reward point. 

How many of the most rewarding or interesting careers out there do not pay enough to lead to financial freedom, but still require a college degree and level of higher knowledge? 

It looks great, with free checking account transfers and giving rewards points and discounts to tenants who use it.  

But so far, I've enjoyed the challenges and rewarding feeling from the changes we have made to our current rental in VA so I'm excited to keep it going :)

I've seen the huge homes in Irvington rent at $1,500/mo as well, but it's always roommate complications and other troubles in those types of homes.Irvington is fun and safe to invest in, but it will not likely bring the fast rewards like the Brookside park area will over the next couple of years, but those 2 years are going to suck.
