I would always suggest putting equity down in a property to achieve several things: 1) better rates; 2) lower payment; 3) safety in a down market; and 4) the ability to pull equity out if I need it.Good Luck!

I am assuming it is similar everywhere:- peeling paint- smoke/CO2 detectors- hand railings sturdy and in place where needed- windows open and close properly- heat/hot water functioning as it should- any obvious safety issues

Generally PM's are required to take continuing education, which is often focused on new legislation as well as basic "refresher" classes on basics such as Fair Housing and LL/Tenant laws, Fair Credit, and even Safety.

If the the imperfections are just on the bottom of the tub. a rubber mat siliconed to the tub might solve the problem and add some non-skid safety factor....ETA: Is that tile really pink.?...
