The same year I graduated, in 1980, I got a broker license.  

I am not a licensed realtor.

He was a broker licensed in over 20 states, owned an Auction company, co-authored a real estate branding book, and operated a successful general contracting business.

I've done a little research and I was told that With bad credit and no money I can make money finding buyers for distressed propertys and get paid as the middle man of the deal, but would i need my license  for that.

I don't believe that I'm getting any extra liability protection by doing so, and I'm not sure that you can transfer an agent's license into an LLC (in Ohio), anyway.What would someone buy if they were buying your LLC that had your personal real estate license in it?  

I am starting real estate school on Monday to attain my license.

-There are some items that are commodities and priced by unit of material (drywall, bricks, roofs) and some that aren't (foundations, design, landscaping, excavators, carpentry)-Prices vary considerably across regions, times of year, skill level, local demand, unionization, licensing restrictions, independent contractor, etc.  

Hi everyone,So, I am determined to become an investor and like to follow the advise of looking at 100 properties.I have a real estate license, but have not joined any brokerage.

I hold a real estate license, and am amazed at how unresponsive and sometimes clueless some agents are.  

Before you proceed any further, I definitely recommend getting 2 or 3 licensed general contractors to come out and look at the issues with you, and get some estimates on costs so you'll know what you're getting into.
