I STILL live at home and my parents are urging me to get out of the house but I don’t want to make a big financial mistake and purchase something out of emotion.

I'm a house hacker here locally, doing a live-in reno on one currently.

Firstly, you'd want to make sure that once they do move here they have a place to live -- their own housing and personal finances comes first.

I live in Roanoke, work in Blacksburg, and invest in Christiansburg.I'm interested in Buy and Hold properties in Blacksburg and Christiansburg.

Consider the expense of having to eat out every day, which is what they will be telling a judge if it comes to that.

I have also come to learn the house I was living in college for 2 years was not correctly following all of the regulations.

Construction loans are available in Mexico but its a complicated and very expensive process.As a developer, I find and buy the land, plan and obtain all the permits, recruit a general contractor, market and sell the condos to investors who either use them for part time living or list them on AirBanB. 

I'm not looking to make a living from it in the first 10 years or use it elsewhere.
