Their are many in the area to choose from so research and interview the ones that are closest to your property once you make your first purchase.I understand you are at the beginning stages so your questions are very valid but require way more than a one sentence answer.

I'm considering the Wilmington market for a buy&hold but still very much in the research stage and I'm very curious what you ended up doing. 

Now we talked to the guy and he ran our credit and is in the process of getting us pre-approved (not what we initially wanted at the stage but ok) and we told him that we wanted to rent out the basement of our house and he said that was illegal for an FHA loan.

Also if anyone has had luck with a good camera or doorbell system I would love to hear what you've had luck with and was user friendly.Ps: Local police told me there had been another break-in in the area last month and the house was finished and staged and someone wiped everything from the home (appliances, sinks) even the chandeliers, smh!

It would be easy if it was just a full set amount loan of $XXXX.XX and just attach interest, there are loads of calculators online for that, but what if its an ever changing amount used, so maybe in the first 2mons we pull about a small amount and then later pull out more while paying it down. not sure what that is called and if there are any tools that can track interest on what is pulled out and at each stage of the balance.
