I don't mind oil companies getting a few breaks for hiring people, but what they get away with is almost criminal, certainly not in the national interests but thier own.

Let's put it this way (and it might be offensive since you sounds like you are local Austinites), Austin demand is simply not even near Bay Area's demand.
