Optional - Get a job in the real estate industry.  

I would love for this to be my primary job in the near future.

And what a wonderful rehab job it turned out to be.

My 5 unit in Bucktown has a gas bill of $95/month on the budget plan which covers hot water for all 5 units and the building laundry as well as for radiator heat in basement studio apartment and the common areas.

Our JOB is to be able to recognize what part of the Real Estate Cycle we are in and learn that when the Market is or could be topping out, you need to Hold them or Fold them and wait for a better opportunity.

I had just graduated, was living with my parents, and driving over an hour to work each day so I decided I would move closer to my job.

@Scott Kim FHA and VA are not as common in the Bay Area in general, but you do see them if the price point works in the East Bay and South Bay.

I have an active full time job outside of real estate, but am interested in getting into this market.

What is the exact job functions of the VA and would they work on commission?
