There is a cabinet in the hallway that allows for inspection of the plumbing, and after further inspection, the joist that the shower sits on is cut to allow the drain line for the shower to fit.

I would not be comfortable with the landlord using the rental property's garage to store their personal property in.Judy, I would say you may have to get a bit creative to cut the cost of your storage bill, but I would not encroach.Just my opinion,George

I do not typically suggest selling off positive cash flowing investments unless you have a clear plan with what you are going to do with the proceeds of the sale and the next investment has better cashflow.

To log my thoughts:Multi-Family clearly seems the way to go.5+ buildings sound like they need to be more self-sustaining, so that seems like the way to go.
