I know the money might be gone, but I can't in good faith walk away knowing that there is a REA taking advantage of people.... 

I don’t understand why anyone wouldn’t take advantage of these options in the short term?

I live in the Bay Area and at hopefully taking advantage of lower rates and purchasing a duplex in the next month or so.

The rent is small (compared to a house) because it's just lot rent, but if one person in a park does it, soon everyone may think it's a good idea.They are obviously taking advantage of a situation where evictions are on hold.
