I have got some quotes for both and they seem a bit high when I measure it up to what I pay in New york.

In have taken the course for New York and found it an excellent time saver and passed my test on the first try The prices are very competitive and the format is easy to follow I have also taken an online course for California and had a good results  The trick is with the online class is not to read all the materials but to go thru the practice exams again and again

I would say yes (even Detroit is on it's way back) but there are areas that never seem to make it much past 'not good' - Western New York being one of them. 

Ex: 123 Main St New York NYLets say that the building has an ARV of $100,000. 

However, I have been getting some alerts with extremely high listed rents which are not indicative of the rent rates in the area I live in (Syracuse, New York area).
