As someone who has been in that state of mind though, it isn't a good solution because hoarders don't see their items as trash or junk.

Then Scott you may have a "breached" or open vent pipe in the stud wall serving that fixture.Sometimes old galvanized vent pipes rust and go rotten over time leaking sewer gasOnly solution is to open the stud wall and inspect vent pipe,the leak or hole could be anywhere along the linear footage of said vent horizontal or verticalHope this helpsDD

i dont have the credit history for a loan from the bank.i think owner financing would be my only solution to purchasing a multi family .maybe private lenders?
