I agree that the fractional vacation rentals should not be viewed as investments -- I see them as a way to own a lake/beach house that you can go do a few weeks out of the year (depending how much ownership % you have). 

Another thing I've done is to go onto STR sites, and check out a couple things.

Are we able to transfer our funds to each other's LLC without worrying about taxes since they are both under the same parent company?

And how accurate are the comps you’re getting from the CMA compared to other tools like PropStream or MLS?
