We went live mid-May but didn't get our first guest until the second weekend in June.

Eventually went to Goodwill for my clothes, ate bologna sandwiches for lunch for years (I don’t/won’t now, lol), cut my own hair (still do, because I don’t have a lot of it anyway), we refinished garage sale furniture and sold it, we shoveled driveways, then got into online sales of dvd/blurays (still do it) weekends and nights sending stuff out.

So, these smart-*** investors gave me a good "kick in the butt" - and I started investing my time on weekends, in the evenings, when there were no outside orders.By December 2019, the house was 80% complete, we moved in in May 2020, and I kept improving it until February 2021, when the kids got the second floor as their bedrooms and the basement as a gym for their workouts.The "dark side" of this process of living is here.

I spend my winters in Colorado and want a get away spot I can go on weekends to relax be close to nature.

Mine's the basic 25 which I think if you can put down a deposit and 2 nights for like $2k you are probably responsible enough for the weekend.
