I've heard they can be difficult to get rid of, but I know that also usually seems to be when it is occupied.I think it's kind of like if a kid gets lice they're difficult to get rid of because they touch everything and don't follow the treatment regimen, but there is one super simple way to do it...shave their head and wash everything.If it will be empty when you get it that will probably make treating easier since you eliminate the human factor.
