If you have the other income and can afford to keep rolling your RE profits and additional money into growing your RE empire for the long term then there is no rule saying that you shouldn't or can't do that.

I tried to look up your post you mentioned but you have so many threads here I wasn't sure which you were directing me to.anyway, I am in contact with a surveyor.. but waiting to sign the purchase agreement before I get the ball rolling. this property is in city limits and have been on contact with the planner. the 5 lots are within their parameters, this will have to be on city water and sewer.

Never heard of that but ultimately its their money and their rules so how do you argue.I did try pushing them to seller finance but they wanted 100k down and I just don't want the property that bad to where I have to tie up my cash for the down payment plus the rehab to add the additional units and fix the place up.
