Oh I meant that "this is the reality of owning a STR" post and was hoping people could challenge my initial points and maybe add one or two.

Hey BP community,I recently purchased a SFR property in the Piedmont Triad area of North Carolina where I plan to replace the first-floor chimney with a bathroom (toilet, sink, vanity, stand-up shower).

Which in all reality still wouldnt help you in the architect line item at all because you need an architect or engineer stamp. 

Or are there floors that won’t sink cat urine? 

So while you're out of the country, the reality is that's a clearly visible issue, and it doesn't swing the value of the property very much.

Things like leaking pipe under sink, downspout that needs securing, sewer vent pipe out to the attic, missing smoke detectors in a unit, loose material, etc. are all very easy fixes that we would be happy to make for you. 

Which sounds cliché but is the reality of senior housing projects.

And, that my husband and I can make our real estate visions a reality.

While it is possible that some construction gets abandoned, the reality is that most projected supply will be completed, and will immediately get absorbed by the market. 

There's a better avenue to sink capital into rather than lending.
