Hi all,First time posting here - as a landlord who has been renting my condo in the City of Chicago for the last six years to the same tenant, things were going ok until this year, but now they are behind and won't even talk to me to come up with a favorable agreement - I have been very patient with them, but finding out now that being a 'good guy' doesn't pay off....I am looking into eviction now, and in my case I want to work with an attorney (even though the process looks ok to be done w/o one, but I want to make sure I am doing everything right, since I am finding out that the Chicago Ordinance is a lot different than any other city/county rules)I narrowed my list down to these two attorneys, has anyone worked with any one of them?

Although a bank may shut down your application over a lis pendens, a bridge lender is willing to close the purchase patiently with the borrower, in the event of title related issues such as this.

If you are patient I bet you could do much better.

In the case of an office building with an adjacent parking lot parcel, if the lot taxes are unpaid and the office building owner also owns the parking lot - then they need to have that lot for the office tenants and their clients/patients etc.

I'm willing to be patient as I start out.

Would getting your license make it easier to acquire capital for your 1st deal or am I better off just saving, being patient working my day job and delivering pizzas at night?

I would always submit in a professional matter and I would also be apologetic once they start going nuts heheAll you have to do is be patient and wait until you snag the bargain.

I think if you are patient you can find a much better property.
